  1. keep in the shade, and give them cooled, boiled water whenever they seem to need fluids other than their regular feeds. keep them in loose clothing . dont allow to be in or near a draft/wind. just keep close watch on their temperature. im taking my 4 month old to belgium in 3 weeks time and hopefully it wont be too warm or too cold. i find babies tell you when something is wrong at that age so you shouldnt have too much trouble.

    good luck!

  2. I'm surprised I didn't see you there Paul, so was I, but then I was on our honeymoon.

To your question, keep your baby in the shade ALL the time with a parasol, and use a suitable sun cream, you can get burnt even in the shade from reflected sun.

Apart from the normal milk, give your baby plenty of your usual re-hydrating preparations, you can buy them in powder form before you go.

The water is usually safe there but with a 3month old, use bottled water, it's cheap enough.

  3. you took your newborn out of the country?Babies don't need passports?how did you get one so quickly?you are not worried about germs and illness

  4. keep a small portable fan with you, and wet rags to keep baby cool.  continue to feed thebaby on demand, be prepared to feed more than normal, since it will be so hot

  5. give....it....ummm... that wet stuff... you know that comes from lakes and stuff...... OH YA!!! WATER!   Also dont forget stuff to keep salt in its body, to contain the water.

  6. You wont be able to take baby out at midday....it's just too hot....you should gho out with him early in the morning and late afternoon....no more than 4 oz of water at a time....and well spread out or he wont drink his milk. HAt and baby sunblock at all times and if it is hot and dry at night, ou should hang wrung out towels away from his cot..over chair backs to keep the air moist.

  7. My personal feelings (which will earn me some thumbs downs) are that you shouldn't be taking a 3 month old baby to Majorca, but if you must, you need lots of bottled, still water and plenty of shade.

  8. I went to Majorca last month and I struggled to keep myself hydrated so I can understand your struggles.

  9. I would talk to your child's pediatrician. He or she would have the best information on what to do.
