  1. Try lemon juice. They also can't stand the scent of grapefruit. It may be the acid. Anyhow, put some in a spray bottle and squirt it on the places that they're coming in. Good luck!

  2. demolish your house its infested THE ARE GROWING IN THE MATRESS U MUST DESTROY! or u could always go down to walmart and get an ant trap hehehehehhe look i answered it the best

  3. I've always heard that ants never cross a chalk line.

Tell me if it works or not.

  4. Plain old table salt works. Spread it where they are coming in.

  5. This may be a sign of termites in the walls. Once we had the place sprayed for termites our ants also disappeared.

  6. coffee grounds. it sounds messy, but if you put a line where they're coming in it wil really help.

  7. First, check what types of plants you have outside. We had peonies outside our home and they attracted ants like crazy.  When the flowers stopped blooming, the ants looked for new nibbles and found their way into the house.  Once we removed the flowers, we didn't have ant problems the following years.

Once they were infested, we used outdoor baits around the house and we used borax powder inside to block their entry path. You can find Borax in the cleaning aisle of your grocery store near the powdered laundry detergents. (Most indoor liquid baits are borax + water but are a lot more expensive than buying a box of the soap powder).  I also sprinkled the borax where the counter top back splash meets the wall and used a dry sponge to set it in - similar to how you place grout into tiles.  You could not see it and I didn't have to worry about the kids getting into it, but it did make a line that the ants would not cross.

    Hope that helps.  Good luck.
