Keeping bugs out of my room?

Hey, I have a lot of spiders come in my room. I just found what I believe is a silverfish which jumped out from under my poster. They're not supposed to be able to climb on walls so I dont know how it did it but I want to keep all of these annoying bugs out of my room. How can I do this?

  1. Get some bug spray like Raid and spray it all around your baseboards, the ceiling cracks, and all around the windows.  It should keep them out for at least a month or so.  I do it for my whole house.  They even sell stuff to use on the outside of the house too.

  2. What I did to keep all bugs 'Big or Small' out from my room is to install the perforated screen mesh over all my opened windows and door entrance. The perforated screen can be easily purchased off any good DIY shops, they now come with the mounting kits & screen, just follow the instruction and affix it to your windows & etc.

Another important habit is to keep your room clean thru regular cleaning as this  removes any potential food source for the silverfish (e.g. glue, book bindings, paper, photos, sugar, hair, and dandruff)

Another thing which you can do to avoid silverfish is to place moth balls at the 4 corners of you room

Remember to air your room regularly as silverfish strives in humid & crevice-rich environment

    Hope the above helps
