  1. To be honest its a bit young to introduce chatrooms and things in my opinion. If u insist it should be computer based maybe you exchange emails with the parents and children can email (with support from parents) to keep intouch.

That way you can organise meet ups so children can play in real life and not just chat online. Your son may well meet a lot of new friends and so 'grow out' of his older friends. You dont want him on the computer all the time and missing out on making friends who are in his class.

  2. disney channel

  3. Facebook

  4. Webkinz has an extremely secure website, you will need to buy the toy to have access to it though, other than that, why don't you get the addresses of , maybe, three of his closest friends and send them snail-mail. It will help him in so many ways, and he will have keepsakes that he will be able to show his kids.

  5. www.clubpenguin.com Is a safe chat. You can play games with your friends and speak to them. There is a Safe chat mode where you can only say thing from the list. or another mode (which i've forgotten the name of) where you can say what you want but any swearing or anything provocitive or anything like that gets you banned. its very safe.

But also instead of a website why dont you invite your childs friends round to play or you and the other mums could maybe meet at the park, so your children can play. Or even if you could phone them up so the children could talk. Help him write a letter to his friends post it and ask them to reply. They could become pen pals! which will sound exciting for your son and will help him devolope with words and writing
