Keeping kids occupied at little or no expense

Any sensible ideas please. Kids are aged 12 and 4.

draw, build forts, bake, ride bikes, the park, dress up..

there are tons of websites that have things to do at home for free online, you should check them out! and also if you go to a bookstore they have crafts to do without spending money with a book that has about 1000 ideas for about 10$

You could always try to play video games with them or dance with them blaring loud music.

The younger one can draw or make easy crafts with pieces of paper and glue and stuff. That's what my little brother does.
