Keeping my three year old in bed all night?

I have been trying to get my three year old son to sleep in his own bed, but he gets up in the middle of the night and comes to get in bed with me. How do I keep him in his room all night?

its a very common thing.  They wake up in the middle of the nite and snuggle into bed with the parents after a bad dream or whatever.  Actually, you'll miss these days in the future. (trust me)  Dont bend out of shape about it as this too will pass.  If you really want to end it just be consistent about bringing them back to their own bed (as tough as it is to haul yourself up to do it every nite) and they will eventually stop.
