Keeping steady temperature in terrarium?

I'm trying to figure out how to keep the day time temperature from going over 80 degrees or below 60 degrees. i live in Philly and the temp. ranges from 10-100 degrees. does any one know how to keep it humid and in 60-80 degree range?

  1. What heat sources are you supplying now? Try a different size or type of bulb. If you aren't supplying a heat source for basking and light, then you need to. I'm not sure about the humidity, but you can always spray down the tank well a few times a day or try a big water dish directly under the heat source.  


  2. if you own a house with a basement or a cellar this would be a great spot.  

  3. set near a cold source such as the AC, its easier to keep heated with lamps and such than to cool. so keep it low, and in a cool spot
