Keertana and Zagora headed for the Grade 3 Endeavour Stakes at the Tampa Bay Downs on 4th February 
The 5-year-old mare Chad C. Brown, Zagora, along with Thomas Proctor trained 6-year-old mare, Keertana will cross paths at Tampa Bay for their next start.
Zagora and Keertana are being pointed for the Grade 3 Endeavour Stakes at the Tampa Bay Downs turf on Saturday, 4th February which will be raced over a distance of 1 1/16 miles.
The five-year-old mare of Green Tune out of Zaneton, Zagora, has been racing for the last two years, twice in 2010, and five times during, 2011. From the seven life time starts, Zagora has won once, and has been placed four times.
She started her racing career in the Grade 1 Prix de Diane on 13th June, 2010, at Chantilly where she finished fifth, and then came second in the Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth Challenge Cup on 16th October,
2010 at Keeneland over 1 1/8 miles.
Her seasonal debut for the year, 2011, resulted in a second place finish in the Grade 3 Hillsborough Stakes on 12th March, 2011 at Tampa Bay, which was followed by a third place finish in the Grade 2 Jenny Wiley Stakes on 16th April,
2011 at Keeneland.
The third start of the year was in the Grade 2 New York Stakes on 25th June, 2011 at the Belmont Park where she qualified as a runner up after racing through the 1 ¼ mile track.
She posted her first victory after a little more than a year on 30th July, 2011 at Saratoga in the Grade 1 Diana Handicap. She was seventh in the final start of the year.
While her opponent in the Grade 3 Endeavour Stakes, Keertana, has been racing since 2009, and during the previous year, she competed on the tracks five times out of which she won three times and was placed in the rest of the starts.
Keertana started off the 2011, season with a second place finish in an allowance race that was followed by winning the Grade 3 Very One on 20th February, 2011 at Gulfstream Park.
She came third in the Grade 3 Hillsborough on 12th March, 2011, and then posted straight victories in the final two races of the season.
She won the Grade 3 Bewitch Stakes on 28th April 2011, at Keeneland, and then claimed the Grade 3 Louisville Handicap on 28th May 2011 at Churchill Downs.
Both the graded stakes winners will be making their seasonal debuts with Keertana being ridden by J. Lezcano, and Zagaro will be paired up with J. Castellano.
