“For me personally, now it’s just a case of trying to keep improving,” said the 25-year-old former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lancashire-c806 academy player.
“It’s nice to have the new contract settled...I just want to carry on working hard with Graeme. He has improved me a lot as a bowler but I know I’ve a lot more improving to do,” he added further.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Barker-c47300, who joined Warwickshire Bears in 2008, had not signed the contract extension offered to him by the club at the end of 2011 season and remained out of contract for the initial three months of the ongoing 2012 county season.

himself fourth on the County Championship Division One wickets chart.
“...this time I thought I’d hold fire and see if that happened again. Then I started the season really well, as we did as a team, which was pleasing,” said the left-arm medium pace bowler during a media encounter after penning a new three-year contract extension
with the Bears on Thursday.
Barker also expressed satisfaction over the way his team has progressed so far this season.
“We are in a really good position in the championship and CB40 and can still make it through in T20 if we finish well,” said the left-hander.
In the County Championship Division One, the Bears find themselves second on the points table, with four wins and three draws in seven appearances. With four wins a defeat in total five matches played so far, they are the Group C table http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-Donald-Topley-c93395 in the Clydesdale
Bank 40 tournament.
With eight points from seven games, the Bears also sit second on the Midlands/Wales/West Group’s points table in the Friends Life T20 competition, just behind http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Somerset-c843 (10 points from six matches).
