  1. No...

    Isn't THAT odd?

nada.com has listings for boats if you need to look one up.

  2. No there isn't a Kelly Blue Book for Boats.  There are several other places to find out the value of boats.   NADA does list values for boats.   NADA is usually about 10-15% off on values for vessels over 27 feet.  Boats under 26 feet they usually get closer on value but they are still off by 5-10%.  Oddly enough for NADA to list a boat it must have met an overall production of over 200 boats.  Since several manufacturers only make 10 or 20 copys a year of a model  for two to three years then NADA doesn't include them in their lists.  There is a BUC book  (A subscription based book) for boats as well as "The Powerboat Guide" a rather large tome that not only lists the values for all powerboats 27 feet and up but also has layouts, engine options, the naval architech (the guy who designed the boat) as well as dimensions of the vessel.  There is also a website called Soldboats.com that brokers use.  When a Yacht Broker lists a vessel on Yachtworld and then sells it, the information including sold price as well as any other information is kept in the Soldboats database so other brokers can use that in their research as to what to advise a client to ask for their boat as well as what to expect it to sell for.  It also has the added benefit of letting Brokers know how long to expect a particular vessel to stay on the market and even break down values by trade in, bank repo, and average vessels.  I know this answers your questions
