I have priced out a van I own on Kelly Blue Book. Is that site and other estimates taking into account the drop in value for larger vehicles due to increased fuel costs?

  1. Kelly blue book is WAY over priced. Check Edmunds for more accurate pricing.

  2. kelly blue book is still a great site to check but you should check with numerous sites and average them, there kelly blue book, nada, and edmunds....check them all.  but yet kbb does take into account the drop in value, i watched my SUV drop big time over the last year

  3. It is constantly being updated based upon data extracted from real sales. You may get a better idea what cars a sell for on ebay since these are immediate prices and will show a current trend.

  4. no not yet

  5. Truth be told, used car market pricing is in chaos over the price changes. Trucks that were worth $17,000 6mo ago are selling for $9,000 today. ALL used Honda's except for the Pilot have increased in value the past 6mo! Check to see where your local car auctions are held, and see if you can check sale prices on their website. Then look for a vehicle like yours to be sold. Its chaos out there.
