What are some examples of crane,dragon,tiger, and snake moves in kempo karate??

  1. Crane - sweeping motions with the arms, defensive footwork.

    Dragon - multiple strikes,linear and circular.

    Tiger - low strong stances, hard open hand strikes.

    Snake - body movement and positioning, vital strikes.


  2. I studied Kenpo Jujitsu and one of the fang of the cobra techniques was a throat strike where you jab your fingers into your opponents throat. That came from Snake Kung Fu.

  3. Dragon's head fist, one knuckle supported by thumb.

    Shape of the Crane, hooked hand used as a frictional pull.

    Tiger's fist, or half fist where the fingers are curled and you hit with the first set of knuckles.

    Snaking talon using a figure 8 to stop a 2 handed push.
