  1. I think you need a repairer. Regards. UK

  2. An overloaded kenmore washer isn't a good thing. There are many things that make noise on this washer and each has its own individual sound. I would recommend checking the coupler between the motor and gearcase to insure it didn't break. It will still spin if only partially broken or cracked. to check it out you will need to tip the mach backwards but don't lay it down. make sure the machine is unplugged. Now reach up under the front and remove the two clips holding the pump to the motor. Next pull the pump straight forward to allow it to slide off the motor shaft. Next remove two small screws that hold the motor clips in place. unplug the motor wiring harness and remove the two clips holding the motor to the transmission. Now you should see a little white piece with three tabs on it. if it didn't come off with motor remove the black rubber ring from the transmission. You should see another white piece just like the first one on the motor. Check for tabs missing and general looseness. If either half is broken or loose replace it. Just pry off the shafts and use a socket extension and hammer to gently tap the new ones back onto the shafts. Make sure the shafts are flush with the surface of the replacement coupler halves. place the rubber ring on the trans and align the motor half on the motor with the transmission half and reassemble the machine in the reverse of what you took it apart.

  3. if the machine isnt actually spinning ... theres a black belt that runs the whole way around the bowl of machine... in order 4 the machine 2 spin the belt must be in the correct position. if u have overloaded the washing machine and its not actually spinning then this belt will have either come lose or snapped. i suggest u take the top of the machine off to see if the belt is still fitted and in working order.

if its not the belt then it may be something a bit more technical in which case it may be a bit more challenging to correct yourself.
