I have a small 4.6 cubic foot size (or thereabouts) refrigerator that is about three or four years old. It has been working wonderfully until just recently, in which I am now noticing an unusual vibration hum noise that sounds only when the compressor is on - rather annoying too.
Could this be an indication that the compressor motor is going bad?
My refrigerator is only warranted for one year, but I think the compressor is under warranty for five years. I can;t find my manual or original receipt, so I'm shooting in the dark here.
