I am getting an error message on my Kenmore LCD that indicates ER IF. I have unplugged the appliance and it resets the fridge. Several hours later, the problem returns. I have also noticed that the ice in the ice maker was not staying frozen. My guess is that there is a problem with the fan in the ice maker, but am not sure how to check or address the problem. Any help would be appreciated. I have the same error code, er 1f. The week before the code appeared, I noticed the change filter indicator was on. I have changed the filter but the error code is still showing.
