Question:

Kenmore bagless upright or Kenmore Canister vac?

After ten years my Rainbow finally died on me so not wanting to spend that kind of money on a vacume cleaner again, I've turned to a Kenmore bagless upright. It does a great job on my carpet, tile and laminate but my only complaint is that it doesn't get under the furniture or in tight spots. I'm tempted to return it to Sears today and exchange it for a more expensive canister style Kenmore vacume. I was just wondering what others preferred more, uprights or canister. The particular canister vac I'm looking at is Sky Blue which is not only the color, but the name of it. Or maybe if someone has some suggestions as to the easiest way to clean the dust/dirt off of laminate wood floors when you're vacume won't reach under the furniture, it would be appreciated.

  1. I use the Swiffer Sweep & Vac on hard floors, and it does a great job. It'll go under furniture and it's on a swivel, so it can go around corners. It vacuums up the dirt and what doesn't get vacuumed gets stuck on the dust pad. It's lightweight and easy to use. I really like it. If you get one, make sure you charge it for at least 24 hours (I recommend 48) before you turn it on or your battery won't last as long as it could. Hope this helps. Good luck!
