Kenmore sewing machine that squeeks when I sew.

Question

I have an electrictric portable Kenmore sewing machine, model # 158 10600, serial # 0005214 that sqeeks when I sew. Do I need to oil it? How do I do this and what type of oil do I use? I have recently sewn alot of polar fleece and feel it may be bogged down a bit with fuzz. I tried to sweep a bit of it out, but it may still be pretty clogged. Thank you.
