Kenneth To impresses at the 2011 Australian Age Championships
Kenneth To put up a scintillating show in the Boys 17/18 years meets at the 2011 Australian Age Championships. He picked up five gold medals in this championship last week. In the Boys 17/18 years 50m freestyle meet, he took home the golden crown with a
fascinating time of 22.54 seconds, while C Raven of QLD wound up second in 23.06 seconds. J Alati of VIC settled third in a time of 23.13 seconds.
On the other hand, K To of NSW took his second gold medal in the 100m freestyle with a winning time of 49.64 seconds. Meanwhile, D McKeon won the silver in 51.23 seconds and C Wong of SA captured the bronze in a time of 51.38 seconds.
In the Boys 17/18 years 100m breast-stroke final, he nabbed his third golden crown with a fabulous time of 1:02.57 minutes. In the meantime, B Sykes of QLD grabbed the silver with a matchless time of 1:03.27 minutes and S Neuman clinched the bronze in 1:04.13
minutes.
The Boys 17/18 years 100m butterfly title was taken over by K To with a winning time of 53.31 seconds, while C Raven of QLD won the silver with a 54.77 seconds effort. His team-mate, Z Dalby snared the bronze in a time of 55.41 seconds.
Last, but not the least, K To picked up the top seed in the Boys 17/18 years 200m Individual Medley with a sterling time of 2:01.17 minutes. J James of QLD took the silver medal with a winning time of 2:04.99 minutes, while B Sykes settled for bronze in
2:05.15 minutes.
In the Boys 17/18 years 200m freestyle final, D McKeon of NSW won the gold medal with the fastest time of 1:49.87 minutes. On the other side, K To snagged the silver in 1:50.47 minutes and J James of QLD wound up third in a time of 1:51.59 minutes.
Fascinatingly, he won his second gold title with an intriguing time of 3:51.37 minutes. Meanwhile, W Eggleton of QLD grabbed the silver medal with a distinctive time of 3:54.93 minutes and E Jackson of New Zealand won the bronze with a 3:56.88 minutes.
The Boys 17/18 years 1500m freestyle title was captured by W Eggleton of QLD with a winning time of 15:27.00 minutes, while M Levings settled second in a time of 15:38.50 minutes. J Richardson was placed third in 15:47.81 minutes.
J Beaver of VIC won the 100m back-stroke event with a sterling time of 56.17 seconds, while he captured his second gold medal in the 200m back-stroke with a winning time of 2:01.11 minutes. B Sykes of QLD clinched the 200m breast-stroke title with the fastest
time of 2:14.92 minutes, while J Chyra of NSW won the 200m butterfly crown in 2:02.73 minutes. Finally, E Tee of VIC snagged the Boys 17/18 years 400m IM title with a genuine time of 4:27.28 minutes.
