Kenny Dalglish: No European action will benefit Liverpool next season – EPL News
Influential Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, reckons that the Reds will have an added advantage of not playing in any European competitions and has asserted that the Merseyside club is aiming to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
Despite enduring a poor start to the Barclays Premier League campaign last season, Liverpool finished sixth in the league standings. Their late surge in the league was not sufficient as they missed out on a chance to play in the Europa League, only just.
Dalglish believes that not featuring in any European competition might prove to be a blessing in disguise. The Reds manager reckons that the lack of European action will prevent his charges from potential burn out and the players will have more time to rest.
“We’d much rather be in the Champions League than out of it. But maybe that will be an advantage to us because we will have fewer games to play and players will have a chance to get more rest,” added Liverpool manager.
Kenny Dalglish was the Liverpool manager when the Reds won their last Barclays Premier League title back in the 1989/90 season. The Reds are once again being tipped to contest for the English title this season and Dalglish has reiterated that his players
will give their best next season. 
“We can promise everyone we will give everything for the ­football club. All we can do is give our best and, if we get results, we’ll be successful," added, the Legendary Scot. 

Dalglish has become the first http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 manager to manage the club in two different spells. The Scotsman was given the charge after Roy Hodgson failed to produce results last season.
Liverpool fans are expecting Dalglish to deliver silverware in the upcoming term, and the Kop legend is aware of the expectations.
“It’s more of an honour than a burden to manage this club. The expectations are there, but we have to manage them and the supporters have to manage them. We hope to get results for them,” Dalglish concluded.
In his second spell at Anfield, Kenny Dalglish has managed to win 11 games of the 23 his side played following his appointment.
