Kenny Dalglish and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 looking to bring in striker, Goran Pandev, from Inter Milan
Liverpool is reported to be on the verge of lining up a bid for Inter Milan forward and Macedonian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Goran-Pandev-c15161. The forward is set to potentially be part of a nine million pound move to Anfield at the end of the season, as the Merseyside
club look to beef up their attacking line-up.
Pandev joined Inter in the 2009-2010 season, after having falling out with his former club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, Jose Mourinho, decided to snap up the opportunity to land the player and brought him in. In his debut season with Inter,
Pandev went on to win the Serie A and the UEFA Champions League. However despite the player’s vital contributions throughout the course of that season, things have not quite turned out in his favour this time around. The player has often been considered to
be a second-choice player and at times has been completely left out of the side.
As a result it is widely believed that the twenty-seven-year old forward will be allowed to leave the San Siro at the end of the season if an offer arrives for the footballer. At the moment, Liverpool are the only club who are showing any signs of interest
in the player, as the team is looking to reinforce their attacking options and add some much needed experience to their attack.
At the moment, the attacking formation at the club includes the likes of Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll, David N’Gog and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348. Out of the four, the only player who has ample experience under his belt is Kuyt. However the Dutch forward has often been asked
to play as part of a very attacking midfield and is often not even considered a striker at the club.
On the other hand, Suarez, Carroll and N’Gog despite being good players, are kind of short on the experience that is needed in the modern game, which is why the addition of Pandev to the squad would be a very smart one.
Pandev has been playing football at the top most level since 2001 and could really act as a guide and mentor to the younger players in the squad. His experience will not be the only thing he brings to the table. This is because Pandev is still one of the
best forwards in the business and he can make game changing plays. The Macedonian has a lethal strike and can whip in a brilliant ball, while doing all of this with tremendous pace and getting past his men with ease.
All in all, at the moment it seems like the addition of Pandev to the Liverpool squad is just what the team needs and could prove to be the icing on the cake that Kenny Dalglish has made at Anfield.
