Kenny Dalglish believes Liverpool deserved to win against Chelsea – EPL News

Liverpool boss, Kenny Dalglish, has hailed the performance of the Reds in the recent hard fought victory against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, claiming that the Merseyside club deserved to win at Stamford Bridge.
Dalglish has expressed his contentment over Liverpool’s extraordinary performance in the first half against Chelsea. The Reds boss hailed his team’s character in the last 45 minutes, as they scored a late winner despite being under pressure in the second
half of the match.
The Scotsman believes that Liverpool deserved to win at the west London and added:
“I think we played really well in the first half, they got back in it in the second, scored an equaliser and put us under pressure. The players hung on in there and the result matched their ambition.”

However, the manager believes their performance this time was even better.  
“I thought we played better today than last time [in February]. Last year was pretty defensive. This year I thought we stood up against them,” Kenny Dalglish concluded.
With the win over Chelsea, Liverpool are now level on points with their London rivals in the Barclays Premier League standings. The Reds are currently placed sixth with 22 points from 12 games.
