Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has hailed the impact of the Reds’ new summer signings and believes that the Merseyside club now have the quality and depth in their squad to challenge for the English Premier League title next season.

The Reds have now added six new players to their squad in the past two windows and the Merseyside club are now being strongly tipped to at least qualify for the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League.
Dalglish is also pleased with his new players’ progress and is confident that the Reds’ summer signings will further improve during the upcoming 2011/12 season. The manager believes that new signings have enhanced the squad depth and quality and has claimed
that the new boys are fully determined to bring glory to Anfield next season.
The Reds boss told the reporters, "Everybody you bring in you hope will improve the quality you already have here and enhance it.”
The Liverpool boss has also expressed his contentment over the Reds’ progress during the pre-season and has claimed that if his players keep on working hard then the club has a huge chance to finish in the top four next season.
"If they go about their work as well as they did at their previous clubs, then that will do us just fine. They want to win games at Liverpool just as at their previous clubs, so that's not a bad start. If they are level headed - which they are - and they
are prepared to work hard - which they do - then we'll have a chance. We are pleased to have people here that appreciate what the football club is all about,” the Liverpool manager concluded.
