Luis Suarez went on to serve a massive eight game ban after he went on to racially abuse http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrice-Evra-c29231. Following a review of his actions, it was decided that the forward had indeed conducted in an act of racism and was hence going on to miss eight games
for the team.
Liverpool accepted that ban without contesting it and the player served out his ban on the sidelines. However, with Suarez ‘s ban now over, the forward is looking to leap frog back into Liverpool’s starting eleven.
Kenny Dalglish is amongst the numerous people who are delighted to have the striker back. The manager when talking about the striker’s return is quoted to have said: "Luis knows he’s in a place where he’s comfortable. He is loved and revered"
The manager then praised the forwards ability and admitted that he enjoyed watching the striker play week in and week out.
"The way he torments the opposition makes it understandable why they don’t enjoy seeing him play – but we will."
With Suarez being back, the striker is eligible to play for Liverpool against Tottenham Hotspur.
Liverpool are going into the game desperate to pick up three points from the match, as the team needs the points to close in the gap on the fourth spot in the league table.
At the same time, Andy Carroll isn’t really in the best form at the moment and having Suarez to help him out up front is going to give Liverpool a much better chance at winning their game against Tottenham.
Dalglish has not yet confirmed whether Suarez will play as part of the starting eleven, or if the striker will come in off the bench for the game.
However, despite that fact, what can be said assuredly is that the striker will make an appearance in the game against Tottenham in one way or another.
With Liverpool displaying good form in their cup competitions, it is now going to be interesting to see if they maintain that form in the Premier League.
