Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has hailed Andy Carroll for his performance against Wolves and hopes for the striker to continue playing in the same manner from now on.
The twenty three old striker joined Liverpool from Newcastle United last January, for a fee of thirty five million pounds. Since then, the forward has been labelled as a massive disappointment, due to the lack of goals that he has been scoring.
However, last night, the striker managed to finally get his name on the score sheet, as he helped Liverpool pick up a three goals to nil win over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952.
Kenny Dalglish, who was quite happy with the way his team performed last night, went on to praise everyone, while saving some special acknowledgment for Carroll.
When talking about the game and Carroll’s performance in the game, Dalglish is quoted to have said: “We're pleased with everybody. It was a great finish for the first goal”
“[It was] a great ball in from Charlie Adam and a great finish from Andy, who played really well.
“He's a Liverpool footballer and he will make a contribution for us many times.”
The manager then admitted that even if the player isn’t scoring, he is still providing some vital passes and his presence has almost always helped his side out.
Dalglish then went on to add: “He flicked on one on Saturday for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Craig-Bellamy-c9471 at Bolton.”
Over the last couple of months, Carroll was being hailed as one of the worst signings to be made in the Premier League’s history. The forward just didn’t seem capable of finding the back of the net and was looked at as one of the worst forwards in the league.
However, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 picking their form up in recent weeks, Carroll has managed to do the same. The striker seems to be livelier than he has ever been and seems to be eager to get his name on the score sheet once again.
Should the player continue to play this way, he could easily go on and pick up the form that he displayed for Newcastle, prior to his move to Liverpool.
