Kenny Dalglish hails Liverpool’s win over West Bromwich Albion - EPL News

Influential Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has hailed his side’s performance in the comfortable Premier League win over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns last weekend.
Liverpool hugely impressed in their recent outing against the Baggies. The Reds completely outplayed Roy Hodgson’s team, and goals from Charlie Adam and Andy Carroll stretched http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s unbeaten run to five matches in the Barclays Premier League.
Dalglish has heaped praise on the Reds’ impressive win against the Baggies and has stated that his side deserved to win at the Hawthorns.
The manager claimed that Liverpool played fantastically and added:
“I thought we played really well, we thoroughly deserved to win the game and some of the football we played was fantastic.”
Dalglish believes that the Reds could have won the match with a bigger margin, however, the Scotsman is happy to see his team secure all three points after a frustrating draw against Norwich City at Anfield two weeks ago.
The Reds boss has insisted that it was a difficult task to earn three points at West Bromwich Albion but Dalglish is pleased to see his team’s performance.
“It could have been more comfortable but a 2-0 win was pretty satisfactory for us coming here. We knew it would be difficult for us. We played some great football and could have had a few more goals,” Liverpool boss added.
Dalglish singled out his defence for praise, asserting that he was very satisfied with his defence. “The clean sheet is very pleasing but goals win you games.” He said.
Furthermore, Dalglish refused to comment on the most controversial moment of the match when Luis Suarez won a penalty after a soft challenge from Jerome Thomas.
“I’m going to sound like Arsene [Wenger], I never saw it [the penalty incident] from where I was standing and I haven’t seen any replays. I’m not trying to be evasive or duck the question,” Kenny Dalglish concluded.
After the fifth win in the ongoing Barclays Premier League season, Liverpool are now placed sixth in the league standings with 18 points from 10 games.
