Kenny Dalglish hails ambitious Liverpool owners

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has praised club owners John W Henry and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-c35214 Werner, claiming that their spending spree during the final days of the January transfer window shows their ambition to bring the club back amongst the trophies.
The Reds recently secured the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uruguay-c3035 international Luis Suarez in a deal worth 23-million pounds. Perhaps more astoundingly, Liverpool managed to sign Newcastle’s Andy Carroll for a whopping 35-million pounds in the final hours of the January
transfer window.
Manager Kenny Dalglish believes that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s big money signings are a sign of commitment from the club’s new owners.
The Reds boss said, “I think great credit must go to the new owners. John (Henry) and Tom (Werner) have really put their stamp down. They promised money would be made available during the transfer window; one or two skeptics doubted that, but they are not
doubting now!"
Dalglish added, "The ambition is there for everyone to see."
The arrival of Carroll and Suarez to Anfield paved the way for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, but Kenny Dalglish refused to talk about the Spaniard.
The Reds boss chose to focus on Liverpool’s new signings instead, saying, “The owners have been as good as gold. They have stuck to their word, and they have shown great determination to move the club forward. I think [the signings] are great reward for
the supporters and players."
Dalglish believes that the new arrivals will be very warmly received by the Liverpool supporters when they make their debut for the club in a few days time. He praised the ability of Suarez in particular, saying that the Uruguay international will undoubtedly
become a major goal-scorer for the Reds.
Andy Carroll is out of action for at least two more weeks since he has yet to recover from a thigh injury. However, Luis Suarez is set to play his first match for Liverpool against Chelsea on the 6th of February, at Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile
Fernando Torres is also looking likely to go up against his former club when the two sides clash on Sunday.
