The former Liverpool legend and their current manager say that the club’s critics need to get an intelligence check as Liverpool don’t deserve the criticism that is being thrown their way in the English Premier League...
Kenny Dalglish’s team played their way into the semi-finals of the F.A Cup on the weekend with a convincing win over Stoke City at Anfield but critics are out in full force against Liverpool who have failed to impress this season.
The Reds have won the Carling Cup this season but their aim of reaching the top four places of the Premier League table is still some way off as their league form has been questionable under Dalglish. Dalglish took over at Liverpool
in the January of 2011 and since then he has undertaken a rebuilding http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at Anfield.
The Merseyside giants have been struggling at the goal scoring front where Luis Suarez’s lack of form and Andy Carroll’s confidence problems have been hampering their challenge for the UEFA Champions League qualification. With
just ten matches left in the Premier League season, it looks highly unlikely that they will qualify for next season’s Champions League but players are adamant that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 must battle to the finish line.
Kenny Dalglish said in his recent interview, "I think people should take an intelligence check. It's not true that you should only look at the league table. Some people will look at that but there's a bigger picture than that.
There are two other competitions which people say are treated with disrespect.”
He added, "Judging by league positions is also disrespectful. For us, all we have said is we want to move the club forward. On the pitch, I think it's moved forward. We will just keep going and believe in what we are doing." Dalglish
will hope that his team can at least make it to the Europa League by finishing 5th in the Premier League but that is looking hard as well considering their immediate competition.
