Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, has insisted that his side’s main focus would be on beating Aston Villa on Sunday, irrespective of the White Hart Lane clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Birmingham City. He stated that he wants his side to finish higher
in the table and end the season with a win against the Villans.
The fifth place will be decided on Sunday as both Liverpool and Tottenham play their respective matches to end fifth on the English Premier League table. Spurs currently occupy the berth with 59 points and are one point ahead of the Merseyside giants.

“We want to end the season with a victory that would give us a chance of finish as high up the table as possible. All we can do is concentrate on our own game and not worry about anyone else. We can't affect another team's results, so there is no point in
worrying about it,” the Scot was quoted as saying in an interview.
The tactician insisted that the aim of the team should be three points in the match and that will not be an easy task. He claimed that Aston Villa have been in great form recently and that was proved with a great win last week against Arsenal at Emirates
Stadium.
