Kenny Dalglish ready to give Joe Cole time to find his form
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has promised to give his full support to Joe Cole to rediscover his best form.
The 29-year-old English midfielder played his first match under Dalglish’s management, which was also his first game since the first week of January 2011.
Dalglish, who took charge of Liverpool on 8 January, 2011 after Roy Hodgson left the job with mutual consent, wants to give Joe Cole as much time as possible and has urged that Liverpool have to be patient with him.
He said, “That is a great start for him, to get himself on the pitch and get an hour won't do him any harm. Joe is a valuable asset for us. Obviously he is not going to pick his form up immediately; if he does it will be a real bonus for us. But we are not
going to put him under pressure and expect him to be the Joe Cole who came to Liverpool in the summer.”

Kenny Dalglish insisted that Joe Cole is a high quality player and will come to his best form in near future.
The Liverpool manager added, “We want to give him a bit of time and make sure he gets there. Form is temporary, class is permanent and that is where we stand with Joe. We'll give him a bit of time to get up to speed and then we'll judge him. Joe needs his
injury rebuilding so we'll get that right first.”
Joe Cole, who was red carded in his Liverpool’s debut against Arsenal, is expected to start for his club in their next Premier League match against bottom placed West Ham United.
Kenny Dalglish, who was managing his first European match since the Heysel disaster of 1985, was not happy with Liverpool’s goalless draw against the Czech outfit. The Reds will now have to win at Anfield or they will be knocked out of the competition if
the match ends goalless.
The Anfield outfit were without the services of their captain Steven Gerard in the last match. Kenny Dalglish, however, is optimistic that his skipper would be available for the return leg.
