Kenny Dalglish has come out and blamed his players for their woeful attitude in their latest league defeat to Fulham. The Liverpool manager changed up his team keeping in mind their upcoming F.A Cup final against Chelsea on the
weekend.
Liverpool failed to give a satisfactory account of themselves as Luis Suarez, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196 all missed out on the action. It was Martin Skrtel’s own goal that became a cause of Liverpool’s downfall in the end
as the Reds never really posed a concrete offensive threat to the Cottagers.
Liverpool have now dropped 30 points at their home stadium this season, something that is somewhat of a surprise for their ardent critics as well given that Anfield has always been a source of strength in the Reds league campaign.
Dalglish has been criticized in the past for not doing well in the Premier League standings with Liverpool and now they are even further behind the leading pack of teams which included http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019.
Dalglish said, "Their attitude was not right and if you get a bad attitude you are going to get a bad performance and that is what we got. I think that is an accurate appraisal. I am culpable as well as I changed a lot of players
to try to give everyone an opportunity to get in the frame for Saturday. I suppose by doing that it was a contributory factor to what happened but you can only be fair.”
He added, "I tried to be fair and give everyone an opportunity - maybe I was wrong. There were one or two positives but there were too many negatives. We cannot play at that tempo; we have to play at a quicker tempo than that.
We deserved nothing."
