Kenny Williams denies false predictions for Chicago White Sox – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox’s general manager Kenny Williams is furious over false predictions that have been roaming around in the local and state media. An unnamed baseball scout has recently published a series of stories in which he calculated
the White Sox’s struggle and its aim on the next Major League Baseball season. That particular scout has mentioned in his series of predictions that White Sox will lose almost 100 games and they will finish last in their American League Central.
Some say that the particular scout who has given all these predictions and understands the game as well as possesses deep knowledge of baseball knowing the fact of White Sox next season’s every game and its results. However, some say that this particular
scout who predicted all these things for the White Sox is nothing, but a deserter and want to demoralise the whole franchise.
The one who has spoken against loudly is none other than the White Sox GM Kenny Williams. Williams lately told the media and dismissed all these predictions that have spread in the media. He said in detail, “I heard about it. He’s a terrible scout, whoever
he is. Let people say what they want to say. I don’t much care. Last year we were picked to win the division by a lot of people. Now, with a lot of the same pieces, now people have turned. OK, whatever.”
He added, “It doesn’t matter. Nobody respects us. You start at that point and say we need nine more wins to get to 90. That’s not inconceivable from this team with a little production we didn’t get from some of the guys we didn’t get it from last year.”
Kenny Williams is also pretty hopeful for the next season’s results. Dismissing all the predictions, Williams told the media with great energy as his team is not feeling any extra pressure and will go with huge heart and try to make a championship run. In
the meanwhile, the White Sox have just completed a well crafted Spring Training and now looking positive to establish a good starting rotation in order to achieve consistent results.
