  1. I don't know about being on fire as yet, but he is playing some good golf to win. Where was this fire that he have now when Tiger was in the field?

Its depend on which tournament he play in and how strong is the field. with a strong field, I would said that he need to win two more times or a simi strong field he need to win 3/4 times.

  2. I have been a huge Kenny Perry fan since the 2003 Colonial. That was the year of the media frenzy over Annika Sorenstam playing with the men at Colonial, but Kenny shot a 61 on Friday that could have been a 58 easily. I followed him for ten or twelve holes and never saw him hit an iron that left a putt of more than ten feet. He could have shot an even better score with a few putts dropping. He won by a bunch that year and won it again in 2005.

But, as much as I like him, he is not the savior of PGA golf while Tiger recuperates. Kenny is a quiet, private family man lacking the outgoing personality needed to be the focus of the media's attention. The tour needs a personality; a Sergio or Boo to capture the public's attention until Tiger comes back.

  3. Kenny is playing great golf, but he's not really an exciting fellow.

Tiger is young, good-looking, athletic, full of energy, always exciting to watch.

Kenny Perry is like watching your uncle play golf.

People who really love golf might be interested, but they're already watching. I don't think any new fans will show up to watch a 47 year-old guy play golf.

  4. Kenny is a great golfer

  5. Kenny is a great golfer . Like so many others on the pro tour, he is not a headliner. Arnold, Lee, Gary, Jack, Sam, Julius, Billy were all headliners Tiger and Phil are headliners. Where are Vijay, Sergio, and Ernie. They are not even making ripples. Ken Perry will undoubtedly pass Tiger in the Fed-Ex cup. So what does that prove ?
