Kent State Aviation?

I was wondering if any one knew if the kent state aviation program was any good and if airline looked at it as a respected program.

  1. I can't answer as to how good Kent State is, but airlines don't care where you go to school.  The only reason it would matter would be if Kent State grads were on the hiring board, you got good contacts from going there who could help you out or something like that.


  2. Embry-Riddle Univ. (in Daytona Beach, FL and Prescott, AZ) and Univ. of North Dakota are big name schools that would be easily recognized by many.  But for the most part, as long as you meet FAA requirements in a certification program, you should be in good shape.  KSU, WSU, OSU, and BG should all be good options if you're looking in Ohio.
