  1. I take it the BCCI runs world cricket these days. If Kent and Durham qualify, then they should be allowed to play. If they have ICL players who are baaned from participating, then ban those individuals from the Champions League, not the entire team.

The ECB should tell the BCCI that they want no part in their tournament, which will no doubt be fixed to ensure that whoever India wants to win does so.

  2. I think it's disgusting to be honest. If a team has earned the right to play in the champions league through qualification then they should be allowed to play. As a Kent fan I am extremely saddened and disappointed that if they retain the title they might not be able to play.

The ICC and the ECB are giving in to the whims of the BCCI a board who should have nothing to do with the eligibility of players in our domestic game, or players anywhere else for that matter (other than in their own country of course). It's all because some of our players participated in the ICL and the BCCI don't want their own brand (the IPL) somehow diminished by allowing players the freedom to chose where they play. The BBCI has no right to dictate how a player earns his money or in what capacity he does it in.

The BBCI are motivated by nothing but money and it's a disgrace, why the governing body of world cricket continually gives in to them is anyones guess but they should grow some balls and stand up to the BCCI.

I can see a lot of court cases in the not to distant future and it's going to show up the ludicrous nature of this whole sorry business.

  3. its stupid

money is taking cricket over and in the process spoiling it

  4. I agree entirely with Lord Britain. Why are we letting India run world cricket?

  5. Its supposed to be a four country tournement but its obvious India pulls the strings. Its a blooming disgrace, and the ICC should finally stand up and do something about the Indianisation of world cricket. We invented the game for god's sake, and now we cant even partake in it without being banned from competitions or having the results of our games changed
