Yeah, I saw there's already an answer.

But I don't want just post time, I want COVERAGE time for May 3rd, 2008. No info on the NBC site, which sucks. I am in Central Time (US). Please help! Best answer gets 10 pts.

  1. HERE'S TWO WEB-SITES

    jm

  2. NBC starts at 4pm our time, 3pm your time (hopefully).

If you can get close in proximity to Lexington or Louisville, Kentucky, here in Lexington we have ALL DAY coverage, starting at 10am. You get to watch all the Churchill races -- it's a lot of fun.  Get out your mint, your julep cup, and have yourself a wonderful Derby day.

Checked the local listings, it all starts at 4:00 p.m. EST.  NBC has moved its coverage up an hour :)

  3. NBC Sports: Kentucky Derby: 5 - 6:30 p.m. ET.  Other programs of interest about the Derby can be found on the program listing at the link below.

  4. I believe the official NBC coverage will begin at 5:00 pm EST with various Kentucky TV stations carrying almost full day of coverages.  I know our local NBC affiliate in Lexington, KY will be carrying the full day of coverage and probably the Louisville, KY NBC affiliate will, also.

    Thank you.

  5. Post time is 5:04 your time (and mine).
