this is going to be my third derby, my dads, fifteenth, my mom's 25'th(or around there) and my grandma's fiftieth plus, i have to say that unfortunately, upsets rarely win, and big brown will win of course he will

There are some monster horses going up against each other... like all major events (Breeder's Cup, Arlington Million, Derby) it's difficult to predict.

I have been to 5 Derbys and was a bartender at the Galt house for 5 more Derbys.

I am a name bettor so I have to go with Big Brown, because of the UPS tie in to the Derby city.

I went to the Derby last year and had a good time, though the crowds were ridiculous after about the sixth race.  I actually had more fun on Oaks day...my bets were better that day, too, which may have something to do with it.  Anyway, I think Big Brown...if you take Kent Desormeaux at his word, you have to like him.  If he draws any kind of a good post in the middle of the field I'll bet him.  If he's too far on the outside or inside, there are any number of horses who could win it--Pyro, Colonel John, Gayego being the next most likely, in more or less that order.
