Kentucky Derby rules and regulations about what can be brought into the infield?

I am going to the Kentucky Derby this Saturday. Does anyone know where I can find a list of what is and is not allowed into the race? I have seen lists from previous years but have not seen anything from this year. Are coolers still not allowed?

  1. Coolers are still not allowed, although they are allowing sunscreen to be brought in this year after it being prohibited the last few years.

    These are allowed:

    Food items in clear plastic bags (maximum size 18” X 18”- - no trash bags)

    “Box” lunches if in clear plastic bags/containers (maximum size 18” X 18”- no trash bags - limit 2 per person)

    Cellular phones, cameras, camcorders

    Small personal music systems, radios, and televisions (no boom boxes)

    Binoculars

    Seat cushions (w/o backs)

    Purses (subject to search)

    Baby bags (subject to search)

    Strollers (ONLY if carrying child)

    Chairs (Gate 3 ONLY)

    Blankets (Gates 1&3 ONLY)

    Tarpaulins (Gates 1&3 ONLY)

    These are NOT allowed:

    Bottles and cans of any kind

    Coolers

    Grills

    Alcoholic beverages

    Thermoses

    Backpacks

    Luggage (including briefcases, duffel bags)

    Wagons

    Umbrellas

    Weapons (including knives)
