Kenwood KCA-iP500, Error 60, HELP?

When I plug my iPod into the adaptor, it reads it and then a message appears on my Kenwood radio "Error 60". What could be wrong and how to fix it?

  1. try restoring your ipod  with itunes


  2. error 60 is mentioned in the kenwood manual you got with the unit

    if you don't have one download it from

    www.kenwood.com and read through error60 and how to correct it.

    its all mentioned in the manual
