United Arab Emirates 213 v Kenya 91/3 (22.5 ov)- Kenya trail by 122 runs with 7 wickets remaining in the 1st innings
On the first day of the International Cricket Council (http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE) made 213 runs at the end of their innings in the first day’s play at Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi.
After winning the toss, the UAE chose to bat first, aiming to make maximum use of the batting conditions in Nairobi against the home side.

However, the loss of the openers did not affect the UAE as they showed the might of their middle-order batting line-up when batsman Saqib Ali and skipper Khurram Khan took a defiant stand against the hosts, as they batted with exceptional talent and zeal,
preventing the hosts from grabbing another wicket.
With the two batsmen on the crease, the hosts clearly looked in a spot of bother as they had no answer to the daunting batting that was up against them. The batsmen toyed with the bowlers by nudging quick runs and then chose to go over the top at will.
The Kenyan bowlers were clearly running out of gas and the frustration was creeping up as the hosts needed to break the partnership to prevent the guests from posting a mammoth tally on the board.

The Kenyan squad went ballistic after taking this wicket as they knew that they had got the wicket of the danger man.

Coming on to bat in the later part of the day, the hosts had lost three wickets after scoring 91 runs, trailing by 122 runs with seven wickets in hand.
