  1. Go direct to Trivandrum.

Head for the beach at Kovalam.

    Move on to Varkala beach.

Consider hills or nearby wildlife reserve or a short backwater cruise.

  2. Its possible to experience gods own country kerala in a short period of time. I would head out to Shalimar Spice Garden (www.anantara.in/shalimar.htm) in Thekkady, Periyar for a couple of days. Shalimar has close access to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary which would enable you to a) experience the backwaters and b) catch an eyeful of elephants and other wildlife as you cruise down the waters in a boat, or a raft for the more adventourous. The resort is located within a coffee and spice plantation so enjoy the home brews. En-route to the property, you will pass tea plantations.  Munnar / Kollam are within easy drive time of Shalimar. Kollam has a nice beach by the way.

    Enjoy your stay

  3. Hi

Will need to know from where are you travelling ?. Lets say if you are travelling from Bangalore to Kerala, then you can access Kerala (in its best) in a different route than if you are from Chennai or so... Please tell me the same and will help you choose the best  fit tour for Kerla 3nts/4days. Write to me at infoatgopu@gmail.com  or  infoatgopu@yahoo.co.in.

Also please mentioned you proposed time (month) of travel.

  4. Start your trip from cochin, finish of Cochin sight seeing in a day, make a one day trip to Munnar. Third day reserve for a backwater trip Alleppey to Kollam, sign off there, go to Trivandrum and make the best of one day in Trivandrum. Actually Kerala trip needs more time, because it is mostly natural beauty and more thetime you spend, more you cherish
