The 19-year-old made his first appearance for the Cottagers after six months in the goalless draw against Chelsea, and the Turkish midfielder was extremely to be part of Martin Jol’s side yet again.
Fulham attacking midfielder, Kerim Frie, has expressed his delight after representing the Cottagers in the goalless draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, November 28.
The 19-year-old, who made his debut at Craven Cottage in the 2011/12 campaign, was sent on loan at Cardiff City in October 2012. However, the club management recalled the youngster after several injuries sidelined many of their players.
The Turkish midfield ace staged an impressive show during his limited game time after replacing Giorgios Karagounis in the 74th minute. Following the game, the talented midfielder expressed his delight, and revealed that he was very pleased to
be on the pitch for the Whites once again.
“It was great again to be on the pitch with Fulham. It was a long time – two and a half months [since his injury on international duty] – and I’m really pleased to be back in the team and to have some minutes on the pitch. I train every day very hard to
get my place back and that’s my target in the next few weeks”, Krie was quoted as saying to the club’s official website.
The 19-year-old, who has already made his debut for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026, went on to heap praise on Chelsea, and revealed that playing against the Blues is always difficult.
“It’s hard against Chelsea in every game but you always want to show them that you can do something. To get a point against our rivals tonight is very good, but we’re playing well so we have to have confidence and in the next few games get some more points
as well”, Krie concluded.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 started proceedings at home impressively, and remained the dominant force throughout the opening half. However, the Blues failed to convert their dominance into goalscoring opportunities, and remained deadlocked until the half-time break.
Fulham resumed action as the better unit in the second-half, but they never really managed to assert their authority on the pitch. Both sides had a couple of decent opportunities, but failed to break the deadlock until the full time whistle, as the game
ended in a goalless stalemate.
