Kerry Earnhardt driving for DEI?

With Mark Martin leaving for Hendricks, and the number #8 Chevy being in need of a driver, does anyone else think that Kerry could go part-time, if nothing else, in the #8 car, maybe until Jeffrey moves his way up to Sprint Cup competition? That would put an Earnhardt back in the driver's seat and allow

Kerry to still maintain family time as he would'nt have a full schedule. Also, does anyone think this might have been in the works anyway - prior to Martin's move to Hendricks, and maybe why he left DEI?

(Jeffrey Earnhardt is kerry's son and said to be driving for DEI in the Nationwide Series soon)

  1. Aric Almirola is drivng the 8 car full time next year. Why can't anyone keep up!

  2. Aric will be driving the #8 full time next year. I wish they could get Kerry in a ride. He has improved since he has been a test driver for DEI.

  3. Kerry is a good guy and all,  but I hate to say it, he just don't have the talent of a top or even mid-tier driver. (go ahead give the thumbs down) This is not his first time in one of the top three series. He has had truck starts and Busch starts before. Look at his stats, they are not exactly impressive.

  4. If Kerry had the talent to drive in the top ranked Sprint cup he would have been there before his dad passed away. If his son is to rise to the top that would be cool, but Kerry? even in the arca series or asa he is an also ran....

  5. Man they couldn,t find anyone else to drive for the wicked witch?

  6. Yea he was driving last night  number 8
