  1. Probably Marmol. I think he is good enought to be a susceffuly closer for any team in the league.

  2. Most likely Marmol, and the Cubs will slide out of first place after being swept by the Brewers, while the Crew scores 4 runs in one inning off of Marmol for a blown save.

EDIT: It won't be horrible after we pick up Huston Street.  Anyway, our bullpen won't matter with the way our SP has been, and our offense will score 30 runs in one game of the Cubs.  Well, 30 is a bit much, but I'll say around 10.

EDIT: Yes there is.  The Brewers have been scouting out Street for a while now.

  3. Carlos Marmol

  4. probably marmol for the most part.  But i think they may make a similar move to the cardinals, using different pitchers every night.  I dont think marmol (like franklin on the cardinals) can close a game every day, they will most likely switch off.

  5. Tony Romo

  6. I think Marmol (scoreless 9th inning sunday) will get 1st shot at closing a few games while Wood is out & Howry will set him up.

Wood hasn't pitched since 7-11 so if they place him on the 15 day DL it will start on the 12th. he will be able to pitch again on the 27th at the earliest. it's a blister not a shoulder, i don't see him out long.

EDIT - Cubs get back on a roll while Brewers & Cards beat up on each other for 4 games

  7. Marmol. It also gives them a chance to bring up a guy from the minors to pitch some middle relief in the meantime.

  8. he will be gone for like 1 weak. they will be fine
