both of the spelling  are used.  words that spell differently and have the same sound can mean the same thing. if you listen to how the word is pronounced the next time you hear it in a commerical the speaker is using the sound of the k.

Both are correct.  I am kinda old-school so I spell it ketchup.  Catsup seems a bit uppity for me.

Both spellings are correct. But ketchup is used more often.  I've only ever seen Catsup written on the actual bottles.
