Question:

Kettle made by SKER?

In Wales, near Chepstow, in deep countryside, I came across the runis of a cottage built entirely from stone blocks, even a lovely little spiral staircase. As stated, the cottage is largely ruined, however the central hearth amazingly remains in tact with the old tin kettle still resting atop!

The kettle is well preserved and i found a symbol on the bottom of the Swedish Flag, the initials 'SKER' and then the country name sweden. It was white, with blue rim, 1/2 litre.

Is this worth anything?!

  1. Sker House is a building in South Wales near Bridgend so not a million miles from Chepstow. Could it have been taken from there?

I hope you left it there for other people to find and enjoy.

  2. My guess is that SKER is the Swedish equivalent of "Stainless Steel" or "EPNS"
