The Genoa midfielder understands that he has been brought in for the injured Sulley Muntari, but maintained that he wants to impress and stay at the Rossoneri for long.
Kevin Constant has stated that the move to AC Milan is a dream come true for him, and has stressed that he aims to impress at San Siro in order to illicit a permanent move.

Constant stressed that he is aware that he has been brought in as a temporary replacement, but maintained that the fact will not stop him from giving his best for AC Milan.
The French international stated that the challenge for him is to prove that he is as good as any other player in the Rossoneri squad, and insisted that he will prove with his energy on the field that he wants to stay at San Siro.
While talking to the press, the 25-year-old said:
"I know that I am here because of Muntari's injury but I still want to play and win. I will give 100 per cent for the team. Now I have to prove that I am as good as my team-mates. I will try my best. I am ready. I have to play with lots of personality,
give 100% and even more. It is important for me to show that I want to stay here. “
Constant went on to state that he will have to step up his game in the face of stiff competition from his team-mates, and insisted that the move to the Italian giants has been a dream come true for him.
The Genoa-owned midfielder also stressed that he will work harder than even in order to make his mark at the Milan outfit.
"My dream came true when I came here, the competition is so high but I am ready to play and fight for my place. You have to be perfect here at Milan." He added.
