The Belgian midfielder stated that he is happy in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 and refuted claims made by a German newspaper that the player is unsettled.
The player is currently on a year-long loan at Werder Bremen from European champions http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and has impressed many by his great start to the Bundesliga campaign. The attacker has thus far scored three times in the league in the
seven games he has taken part in.
A German newspaper recently published an interview from the player which claimed that the Belgian is not settled in Germany and plans to find a new club in the summer. The interview also quoted that the youngster has a troubled
relationship with manager Thomas Schaaf and that they have not talked to each other.
De Bruyne stressed that he gave the interview to a Belgian newspaper and things went wrong when the quotes were translated to German. He refuted claims suggested by the German news agency and admitted that he is happy with his
life in the country and is loving his time at Werder Bremen.
The attacking midfielder added that he has been taking lessons to learn German language, but he still misses his friends and family.
“To everyone who reads German papers: the interview that has been published about me is a translation of a Belgian interview. In the translating process, some things obviously went wrong. I really am happy in Bremen and I'm fully
adapting to the German mentality,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Genk player stressed that he does not want any misunderstandings to circulate in the media when he clarified using his account on a social networking website.
“I'm here to learn and I'm learning each and every day. I only said I miss my friends and my life in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belgium-c2850, but I certainly didn't say that I'm unhappy here! I hope this clears things up for everyone. Focus on the national team
now,” he concluded.
Werder Bremen have had a mixed start to the ongoing season and are currently in 12th place with seven points from the seven games played.
