Kevin Evans & David George of Team Nedbank 360Life claimed their second straight victory at the Cape Pioneer Trek 2012 after winning the second stage of the race.
The duo completed the 85 kilometre chase to Zwartberg High School, rather convincingly, leaving no chance for their rivals.
They took a total time of 3 hours, 54 minutes and 51 seconds to secure the top podium position with Matthys Beukes & Ben Swanepoel of Team Cango M T B.Com finishing 8 minute and 52 seconds behind at the second position.
"Obviously the prizemoney was a good motivator today, but we’re always going to give our best in every stage we race,” said George.

"We wanted a buffer just in case of mishaps so pushed from far out for the win. It was a challenging stage for sure with some technical ascents”.
“We are one of the few top teams in the race on full-suspension bikes which really has been to our advantage".
