The Paris Saint-Germain star is keen on leaving Parc des Princes and is currently holding talks with Spanish side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 over a possible move to the Mestalla this summer
European Championships are currently being played at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Gameiro-c20721 is following France or not. The striker dreamed to play for Les Bleus at the Euros but eventually didn’t do enough to win
over Laurent Blanc who chose to leave him out.
The young striker barely featured actively in the second half of the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 Championnat under Paris Saint-Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti who preferred starting the former Lorient man from the bench.
Upon breaking the news to him that he hadn’t made the final 23-man list, Laurent Blanc advised Gameiro to join Valencia in order to strengthen his international status. And, Valencia are also keen on signing the talented striker whose services at the Ile
club are not really appreciated.
Reports in Le Parisien claim that the striker is expected to meet the leaders of Valencia later today. Reports further claim that the residents of Mestalla are willing to offer the player a salary equivalent to the one that he currently earns at PSG. Gameiro
earns 280,000 Euros per month at PSG and will not be willing to take a significant pay cut.
Furthermore, Gameiro has also asked sporting director http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 to put him on the transfer list as his future does not lie at PSG.
Though Leonardo is apparently not really looking to let him go, however, the Brazilian may succumb to the player’s wishes.
Gameiro did not inspire Carlo Ancelotti’s confidence in the second half of the campaign and the Italian tactician no more sees the 25-year-old as an integral part of his plans for next season.
Furthermore, with the cash-laden outfit set to bring in a plethora of stars this summer, Gameiro should do well to quickly negotiate a move to Valencia.
However, Gamiero, should he sign for Los Che, will have a lot of competition for a place in the starting XI. Recently, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-Soldado-c31367 has been given a new contract at the club which will keep him at the Mestalla until 2017 so the Frenchman will need to
be at his best in order to be the side’s mainstay.
