The left-back acknowledged that his dire straits in Las Palmas, claiming that the only way left is to move out of Joaquin Caparros’ managed outfit.
After breaking out from Mallorca youth academy, a lot was expected of Kevin Garcia. Having a fledgling start to his career under http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-c25261 Laudrup, the left-back suffered from an injury bout that would rule him out of action for over a year.
The stopper is back in the first team fold but has a lot of competition on his hands to force a place in Joaquin Caparros plans. Garcia shared that he is back to full fitness but wants to minutes on the pitch to reignite his footballing career.
With Joaquin Caparros taking his time to ponder over his first team credentials, the 23-year-old is getting fed-up with his hapless situation.
Kevin Garcia recently came out in the open to bemoan his lack of action that stretches back to September 2011, he is pondering over moving away from his boyhood club if his playing situation does not improve.
The left-back who can boast off 20 La Liga appearances against his name, acknowledged his precarious condition at the Iberostar stadium. He hailed the players in the roster as better than him, whilst admitting he is weighing up his options.
“I need minutes on the pitch after spending a bad year because of my injury. I know there are others who are doing better than me but if I see I have no chance of playing then I’ll need to have a look at what my options are,” he told a Press conference.
Kevin Garcia finds himself behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pedro-c29582 Bigas and Antonio Lopez in the pecking order, with Caparros shunning him when the first team duo have been unavailable.
The former Spanish national team manager has called on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 players to fill the gaps, leaving the once highly rated defender on the sidelines. Understanding the situation, the Palma born footballer stated that he is in a difficult situation and is
working hard to alter his conditions at the Iberostar.  
“We’ve had many injuries but Caparros has not spoken to me at all, although I’m working hard to play if needed. There are a lot of youngsters coming through and to be honest they are all doing very well.”
“I know it is difficult with Lopez and Bigas in my place and all I can do is work, but I have to respect the boss’s decision because it is him who picks the team,” Garcia concluded.
